Hackett London – Summer Windows

The brief was to create a narrative around ‘Classic British Boating Lakes’. Picture the Serpentine, which takes on a unique charm during at this time of year. As the willow trees and flowers blossom and bloom, the lake is surrounded by a tapestry of vibrant hues, creating a magnificent backdrop, Sail around Heron Island, go to the Serpentine Bridge and back – but please don’t feed the ducks!

We installed bespoke set builds across both their London and European flagships in Regent St, Sloane St, Madrid and Paris to enhance the storytelling with classic Georgian architectural Props, hand-painted by our scenic artists and fabricated by our in-house joinery team. We then recreated a life-size Rowing boat and styled mannequins carrying it out to the lake. The heat bent rippled acrylic created an illusion of moving water where the bespoke ducks and toy sailing boats floated across the full length of the windows.

We also produced and delivered a full store rollout across their entire UK / European retail estate with a ‘Toolkit’ approach of custom designed architectural stone bridges and VM elements to enhance the window environments and translate their visual language.
